Here are a few things that I’ve found out you can do with the Nook Color that may also work with other Nook models besides buy books from Barnes and Noble.

1. Borrow books from the public library.
2. Get books from the Baen Free Library.
3. Download books from Project Gutenberg for free.
4. Borrow books from friends who have a Nook.
5. Browse Barnes and Noble books for an hour a day in store.
6. Read Adobe Reader files like the instructions for tools I borrow from my father in law.
7. Barnes and Noble offers a free book every Friday.

The World’s Greatest Hobby Show is this weekend, January 7th and 8th, at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.  It’s the one must see model railroad show this year.
